Hello,

I need some help in documenting a letter to the consulate officer which
was asked to my wife that should be written by me, when she attended for her H4 visa.

situation: I have a valid visa stamped in passport from my old company to which I used to work for 6 months back. I changed my company to a new one and have been working for it since april 2005. Since my latest paystubs are from my new company and visa stamped on the old company's name Visa officer asked for 'written explanaton why husband travelled back to US on visa from different company' under the section 221(g).

If anybody had a similar kind of situation or have any ideas pl. let me know ?

Thanks,
-Ram

-------------- you need to contact your lawyer. I dont have link to that Memo, if you had valid H1 stamp of A and got H1 trasfred with B then you are allowed to enter US with valid visa stamp of A and you show H1 approval of B at POE and will get I-94 till B employer H1 approval validity. ask your lawyer to write a letter and attach the particular memo/law. I am 100% sure the consulate officer does not know this.
