New J-1 holder just won visa lottery - intent to immigrate? too late to apply?

Hello,

I just found out that I won the DV lottery and received my J-1 visa 3 weeks ago.

- I red that the J-1 visa is a non immigrant visa, can I apply?
- Would it be better to wait before applying?
- When is the last moment to send the documents?

Have you entered US already with this J-1 visa?
Do you have a 2HRR requirement?
Are you talking about DV-13 or DV-14?
Why did you find out so late?

yes I entered the US, i don't have 2HRR and I am talking abour 2014. I just checked a couple of days ago, I totally forgot about the lottery.

If you plan on doing AOS, since you're already in the US, please go through the DV 2014 AOS thread, most of your questions (and others related to AOS and J visa) have already been answered there:
