New H1B Premium Processing

My company is processing my H1B(new) application under premium processing (California Processing Center). The Receipt date for the application is Aug 31st 2004. The online status check shows that it takes between 150-180 days to process. But if it is through premium processing should it not be within 15 days of the receipt date. Anybody in the same situation please post your response.

My H-1B Receipt Date is September 28th. Premium Processing and the USCIS website shows the same 150 - 180 days processing time when I check for the status.

Do you guys have any proof about the Premium processing receipt?

I have seen companies providing false information to the consultant about premium processing.
We just filed our first H1 visa by end of September in premium processing and it said 10 - 15 days. They did issue us big RFE in 7 days and we are in process of replying back. After replying to RFE the process is again 10 - 15 days but it says as initial processing is done we might have a decision before that.

Check with the attorney to find out whether they filed it to the right address. CSC has different address for H1 Premium processing.

Most of the time companies never does premium process, but they say so. Nebraska takes 3 days to process Premium applications, and send if any RFE by fax to attorney to avoid any delays.Check with the attorney to find out whether they filed it to the right address. CSC has different address for H1 Premium processing.

Had a heart to heart talk with my Employer and found out that it was indeed Normal processing and not Premium processing. Any idea how long it takes for normal processing and USCIS is processing normal applications from which date currently?

Rfe?

I am new here. Just joined today.
I am seeing RFE used everywhere. Can anyone please tell me what it stands for?
Many thanks.

Request For Evidence. It can be issued if CIS feels the documnet you provided
cannot substantiate various satutory and regulatory guidelines to adjudicate(approve/deny) the case.

Hope you got it.
