Hi,
I am working for a company on L1B visa. Another company had filed H1B petition with Change of Status for me and it has been approved.
In such a case, am I bound to take the employment of the new employer or can I still continue with my current employer?
Can I join my new employer after sometime once I am sure that I want to join it?
Is there any regulation guiding COS and when should one join the new employer?
 
you have to join the new employer within 60 days of approval date, otherwise the H1 will be voided.

Hi Jaxen,
If one has already stayed for more than 60 days before joining the new employer then, is it ok to go back to India and get H1 stamped? Will there be any question by the Consulate on why the person didn't join the new employer within 60 days?
