Never Received Interview Date for my case!!!

I am still waiting for the Interview Letter from Nebraska Service Center since it is more than 6 months period since I had the Fingerprint Appointment at St. Paul, MN in July 2006. My status online is stated as "Case received and pending." Do you guys have any suggestions on this or how to request for info on my case and why it is still in pending mode? Thanks a bunch.

Make an info. pass appointment and talk to the IO. They should be able to tell you why you have not heard anything following you finger print. Most likely it must be your background check.

Same here as well. I'm noticing that a lot of people of late have not been making the "first cut" of clearing name checks. This "first cut" usually happens quickly after FP and they normally receive their IL within 2 months of their FP.

Then the rest of us go through extended checks and waiting until 6 months after FP is not unusual. There's not much you can do but wait especially when the USCIS website shows processing cases with PD of May 2006 for most DO's.

Next steps would be to contact senators/congressman but only after the USCIS website shows PD's after our PD.

Let me know what others think.

Wait at least 3-4 months AFTER FP to schedule an InfoPass.
 
I've called USCIS office and they had opened a request form to look into my case since it already had passed my processing time. Should I still need to make an appointment with INFOPASS to get more details on my case?

Hi guys,

im in the same boat. my

PD is june 7 06
fp june 29

its been more than 7 months by now and my on line status has not changed a bit.it says case received and pending.i had an info pass and they just told me to wait as the case is still at vermont service centre.i called the the VSC and one of the immigration offices has requested an inquiry on my case .

what should i do next .any suggestions plz?

Have you gone past your local DO's N-400 processing time? If it is still with VSC, I too will guess it is your name check. Only once your name check comes through, will you receive your IL.
