Need Urgent Info regarding travel on H4

Hi All,

I need some help related to travel on H4. I have a valid stamped H1 visa till June 2008. My wife and kid are in India right now and have valid stamped visa till September 2007. They are returning on Jul 2 2007 to USA. Can they come back on their current visa? Is there something like minimum validity period for H4 visa which is needed for travel otherwise entry at the port will be denied?

Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated. Please let me know as currently there are no dates available in mumbai consulate and I want to make sure that they can travel before they start from India.

they have H4 valid visa in passports till september 2007 and Your H1 approval is valid till June 2008. send them your H1 approval notice that is valid till 2008. once they reach US POE they will show H4 stamp in passports AND your H1 approval notice valid till 2008 and they will get I-94 till 2008 (that way you dont have to file H4 extensions Before September 2007 and will save the H4 extension filing fee as both will get I-94 till 2008)
