Need Urgent Help -- H4 dated Wrong ! How to Correct it?

My daughter's H4 date is aparently wrong. I apply my H1b and H4 for my daughter all together. The outcome is my H1b expiration data is 11/01/04, but my daughter's H4 was somehow, 01/01/04. There must be a '1' missed by typoon so the H4 got 10 month shorter.

What should I do to correct this? Could anyone share some experience on how to make an application to request a correction on the date if this is really a mistake?

You can send the copy of her H4 approval to the service center and get it corrected, write in the cover letter that it should be till XYZ date based on your H1 and attach copy of your H1, out side the envelope write in bold” Service center MISTAKE Correction needed on H4 extension approval notice. request in cover letter to send new H4 approval notice. If it is mistake of USCIS they will correct it if it is your mistake or you put wrong date on I-539 then they may not. if lawyer has filed then ask him to get it corrected
 
Double check the I-539 that was submitted. If there is a typographical error on the form USCIS will not correct it unless you refile. If they gave you what you asked for you are out of luck.

Thank a lot for your guys help. I would do it by myself, eventhough my attorney did the application for my H1B and the H4. Do you think this would be a problem or do I have to use my attorney for this? I'd like to do it by myself because my attorney asks for 200 bucks for this. I don't think this is complicated enough to worth that much. Am I right?

I did have a draft copy of the form, which states Nov. 04, not Jan. 04. So I should have a good chance to get it correct it.
