need help

Hi i have sent my passport for stamping in st louis/ Dc. they gave a reason saying we are unable to process your visa application under section 221 g. clearly not approvable at this time must aplly for new visa overseas.

does this mean visa was rejected . Does this qulaify for applying for delhi consulate though i am from Hyderbad???? or should i apply for only chennai??

221 g is lack of documents. Visa is not rejected or cancelled. The visa has to be obtained with right documentation in a US consulate. Since chennai is taking time to give out appointments, you can try with delhi.
