If you were sponsored for a GC by your US citizen sibling, your marriage will not make a difference. In fact, you spouse will also get a GC along with you.

The title of your post indicates that are talking about filing for adjustment of status. Where are you? What is your current status? You have implied that you are in the U.S. but have not indicated what type of nonimmigrant visa you are currently here on. Are you a student or an H1-B or????? You have to be in a lawful status to file for adjustment of status unless you are an Immediate Relative of a USC (spouse, parent, or unmarried child under 21) OR be eligible for 245(i) by having a priority date on or before April 30, 2001. Your sister filed a petition AFTER the cut-off date for 245(i). Were you ever validly petitioned brfore that petition that might allow you to be "grandfathered" for 245(i)?
