Hey all,
I need some guidance here. My current status is that I have applied for I-485 in TSC , got the I-485 receipt very recently. I wasn\'t allowed to apply for EAD along with my I-485 due to company\'s policy . Mainly, because of their poor thinking, fueled by my lawyer\'s wrong inputs to them. They think EAD means "Pass to fly out of the nest". So I ended not applying for EAD along with I-485. But now, I want to, but would like to keep it to myself and wouldn\'t want the company know that I\'m applying for EAD.
My Questions:
a) Considering the status/situation I\'m in, what is the best option to apply for EAD ?
b) Remember, I-485 was filed with G-28 (Lawyer\'s representation...some like that). Is filing EAD seperately(out of I-485 loop) allowed ?
c) I think I could do it with just the I-485 receipt. Has anyone done this before ? If so , who gets the EAD related correspondence from INS, (All my 485 stuff goes to my lawyer).
