Need help applying tommorow

Hi I have been in america since I was 4 I have a 10 year permanet green card. Im now 18 my card has been expierd for 4 years. I want to renew my card so I can find a job, but I cant afford it at the moment I want to apply for a fee waiver but will that affect my residency? Can they revoke my green card if I file a waiver because my mom doesnt make enough though we are not recieving any goverment aid?
 
I just want to know can I be deported for filing a fee waiver beacuse that would mean im low income.
 
No, you won't be deported. You can apply for a fee waiver. But, do you have a social security card (without any restrictions indicated on it) and a state ID or DL? That's all you need. You SHOULD apply for a GC, but you can use the other two to get a job.
 
(Non-conditional) Permanent residency is permanent, as long as you maintain residence in the U.S. Not having the physical card or having it expire does not affect your permanent residency status; it just makes it harder to prove that status.
