Need help about my status

Just got Laid off.

I'm on H1 visa and will expire this July.

I have EAD which is valid till Aug'10 which I didn't use yet (My wife used her EAD to work).

I also have AP valid till Oct'09 which I used last year Nov to get in.

My 485 was applied in Aug'07.

All the above through the same company through I got laid off today.

So what are my options?

Do I need to find a sponser to transfer my H1? Don't think I'll get one in this economy.

Since its been 6 months after my 485 is applied, Is it legal to stay till I find a new job even if my ex-employer cancel my H1 immediately (He didn't say anything about this. He is going to talk to attorney and let me know)?

What are the problems I will face if my 140 is cancelled? How long it will take to get an RFE from INS if its cancelled immediately?

Yes. My I-140 is approved few years ago.

What happens if 140 is revoked before I didn't find any job and invoke AC-21?

Normally how long it will take to get an RFE from INS if my ex-employer informs them to revoke I-140? Do I need to file G-28 before finding a job itself?

You just need to focus finding another job because you are eligible for AC21. Also, if you can then request your employer not to revoke I140.
