I got my Naturalization Appointment Letter today from Boston office and unfortunately also got job confirmation in other state Texas. Appointment is 5 weeks from now and new job start date in other state is next week. Totally confused.

Have anyone be in this suitation or advice what should be done.

Should I go and join the job in TX and come back and attend interview. Or should I write to USCIS and move my file to TX area. Whats pron/cons for each. Please suggest.

Thanks

Are you moving permanently to Texas right away, or can you hold off a permanent move until after your interview?

I do consulting few months in one state n few in other. I keep moving but this move would be perm. And I cant hold till interview as its matter of job.

You might try to convince the IO at interview that you haven't "permanently" moved to Texas yet. Otherwise, if you go to interview and tell IO that you have already moved, you risk further delay (~3 months) as they would need to move your file to the new jurisdiction.

My interview is next week in detroit and about 4 weeks ago I started working in New York. I still own a house in detroit and consider it to be my permanent residence. I will be flying back to detroit the night before my interview. During interview if asked I will update IO with new employer information and thats about it.
