If the naturalization ceremony is not so frequent in ur DO, can you take it somewhere else in another location if you request it so that you can take the oath and get the certificate sooner? I've read a post that it was just 2 ceremonies a year in a certain place, you have to wait like six months to take the oath after ur interview.

Unfortunately, no. The oath must be taken in the jurisdiction of your residence.

Are you 100% sure? A friend of mine did his interview about 2 years ago and was offered by the IO three different cities around to do the oath.

Different cities can be under the same jurisdiction of the same DO. And if one moved and stay at new place for 3 months, he gets a new jurisditcion

So, in summary it is possible that Sreeleshk can ask the IO to give him/her different choices to take the oath?

If the different cities fall under the jurisdiction of the same DO, then it should be possible. However, it's not possible to live in Atlanta and take the oath in NYC, for example. Keep in mind that the OP was referring to infrequent oaths in his DO, thereby implying that he wants to know if it's possible to take the oath at a different DO.

Obviously.

No one said the contrary.

Sreeleshk, ask the IO at your interview if he knows of other locations near your DO you can take the oath. My plan is to ask that at my interview and will let you know.
