Naturalization & Name change - problem with dual citizenship?

At the time of naturalization you have the option to change your name legally, right? If you do that and you remain dual citizen, will it be a problem having two passport each one in different name?

Anyone can share some experience?

I'm pretty sure it would cause you problems. For example, your plane ticket will be on one name, so if you end up traveling on the passport with the different name, you will have trouble. You should try to change your name EVERYWHERE.

Thanks!

I realize is pretty painful to go and change everything everywhere, the problem is that it won't happen overnight, the name won't get changed at all places at once. How many of you changed the name during naturalization? Also, how long before you changed your name were you using that name?

I don't even know what to change my name to. I only know it is pretty hard for anyone to pronounce it - that is being my only motivator.

Hmm. It's a tough decision. In my case, my birth certificate had always had a spelling mistake, but it had never been a problem. I'd always used my correctly spelled name in all documents, until the interview, when I was required to change my officially. No biggie.

Yours is a tougher decision!

Hi how are you?

I had my interview for N400 on this month , the IO gave me n652 At the end of the interview, she congratulate me and checked the box of recommended for approval
However, back in 2013 someone registered me vote by taking my business card, I never signed the application or filled it out, while I was vending in a craft show he came to me and asking me if I could register to vote I told him I'm not a us citizen yet but he still wanted my info so I handed him my business card and left . So one week after I sent the n400 I found out my name is on registration to vote.... I didn't mention any of this to IO. So I don't know if they will find out about this ? But I never registered myself to vote... What do u Think please ?
