Hi all,
I live in Central-South NJ (not far from Bordentown, NJ) and just had my fingerprints done in Philly  Does it mean that the citizenship interview and the rest of the process will be in Philly as well? I thought we belong to the DO office in Mount Laurel, NJ as it is much closer than Philly. Your thoughts?
Thanks!

There have been people here who had FP in one city and then IV in another,Kansas city was one. B'more was another I think.

I live in Maryland and my FP appointment was scheduled for an ASC located in Dover, Delaware. My interview and oath were however carried out in Baltimore.

I live in Mass and for my GC I was sent to RI for FP but for my naturalization my FP was in Boston. I guess they try to accommodate people wherever they can find an opening.

Yes - it seems FP can be done at whichever ASC is closest, regardless of district.

I also live near you (Just north of Hamilton township, on Rt 130). Per USCIS website, mercer county is handled by Mount Laurel Office, but I got my FP appointment in Newark, NJ....

Per uscis website:

Mount Laurel Handles: Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Mercer, Monmouth, Ocean, and Salem counties.

Newark Handles: Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union, and Warren counties.

BTW- my PD is 09/15/2008, my FP appointment is 10/23/2008.

ASC and Local DO are separate entities. They are not necessary in the same place.

FP will be done in ASC and Interview will be conducted at local DO.

Most likely your interview will be conducted in Mt. Laurel. I remember one person in this forum did FP in Philly (ASC) and was interviewed in Mt. Laurel (DO).
