N400 Procesing at Texas Svs Ctr

I will like to start this thread here - My receipt dt is Mid December 2002 and I have not heard from INS yet
 
I filed my N-400 in the middle of Jan 2003 with Texas Service Center. Got fingerprinted on Feb 28, 2003. Havenot heard from INS after that. I live in Houston.

Anyone with similar dates made any progress ?
 
Any Oath letter from Dallas svc

Hi I have started my N400 Aug 2002
FP : Oct 2002
Interview : Jan 21 2003

I got a call from Interview officer on Mar 08 2003 Reg my Name reversed. I went to BCIS (Dallas) on Mar 11 and filled up a Name change form. He told me all my process is over and will be scheduled for a Oath during April. But I did not get any news.
I went BCIS on April 12, after waiting 7 hrs, information Clark was very unfriendly and told "you have to wait, it could be next month or after 6 months". I am still waiting..

Is there any one like my case. Any one got Oath Letter from Dallas. Recently..

My timeline: Dallas office

Receipt date : last week of december
Fingerprint: First week of February
Waiting for interview.

Does anybody have an idea of how much time it takes after fingerpriints in the dallas office for interview? Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Time awaiting

I applied for citizenship sent to Texas office and received receipt date 5 July 2002

Had fingerprints in beginning of November 2002.

Have not heard from them since about interview.

Live in Orlando area.

Why such delays ?
 
Hi, I had my FP on Sep 2002 and Interview Jan 2003 waiting for Oath..I should not take this long, You better call them and find out.

Yes I met one guy on Mar 12 in INS office, I rememberd he filed same time, But he got the Interview on Feb 03. I would suggest you to follow-up with what ever means availabe. I hope you will get your interview soon. Keep all the trafic ticket details if any. I will post once I get the Oath notification

I just received my N-400 interview notice. Interview is scheduled for July 10, 2003. My details are :

City is Houston, filed at Texas Service Center, Mesquite
Filing date: Jan 20, 2003
Fingerprinting done on Feb 28, 2003.

Congratulations. Has the status of your application changed in the BCIS online status web page. Could you please let me know what it says now after receiving your interview date.

The BCIS Internet status enquiry system gives me the following :

The status for this Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system.

The Texas Service Center phone system also gives me a similar message. But when I waited for an Officer, he was able to tell me about my interview.

Hope this helps.
 
Has anybody else in the dallas district office received interview letters. Could you please post timelines?

I filed N 400 in December 2002 and have not heard from INS since (except for reciept). Is there a toll free Number at Texas Service Ctr to call? The number on the receipt for TSC is always busy and is a regular long distance number.

I got the Oath letter through Congress man

Hi All,

Today I have received the Fax Copy of oath letter from Senator Office. I have contacted Texas Senator "John Cornyn" Reg my Oath delay. He responded and contacted BCIS, today they have scheduled my Oath for May 20. Though I am in Dallas, my Oath Ceremony is in Sherman..I am sure with out Senator's involvement, I would not have happened. BTW I had a name change application, I guess which caused me the delay.

I will post my experiance after the Oath Ceremony.

What is your interview date & which date you contacted your Senator(is he democrate /republican)

And which date you got fax (regarding oath letter) from Senator's office?
