I have been scheduled for interview on 5/11. During interview, I am wondering if I can bring my own copy of N400 with me and have it in front of me while officer is reviewing and asking questions on N400 ?

Thanks.

I applied for citizenship in april 2007. Since then I have had three finger printings, and 1interview back in jan 2009 (I was told they had to review my case before making a decision). After a long wait and lot of pushing from the Senator, I finally got my reinterview letter for beginning of next month. What should I expect? They didnt ask my husband (my sponsor) to come in with me for the interview. I dont have any criminal records or anything as such. We met in college, fell in love, got married and have two beautiful children together. There really is nothing that should be preventing then from giving me citizenship. Do they retest civics/english on a second interview? Should I bring my husband with me anyway..even if they havent asked him to come in?..Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

First, you really should have opened a separate thread, rather than post your inquiry in this thread.

No, they certainly do not re-test for English and civics during the second interview. Most likely the second interview is simply to update your N-400 information since so much time has passed since the first interview.

Did the Senator's office tell you what the reason for the delay was?
Did it have something to do with the FBI Name Check/background checks?
