So i will be filing for my n400 in Jan of 2010. I know its still a long way, but Im trying to get it ready. Anything I should really study for?

Visit your nearest IRS office and pick up tax transcripts/account transcripts for the last 5 years. You can also order these by phone.

It is probably too early to start studying for the test, but here is the link to the 100 questions: http://www.uscis.gov/files/nativedocuments/100q.pdf

You can also download the N400 form and see if you need to get any documents ready (eg police/court records in case you have some traffic violations, court cases etc).

It is good that you have taken the initiative to start preparing for the journey well in advance. Good luck!

Start doing 50 push ups a week..the IO may request physical activity test at your interview.:D
Damn, I have been doing 49 per week for the last month. I have interview in a month and half. Should I catch up on those 1 per week now or wait until IO request the physical activity and then disclose :-)

I got a reckless driving ticket in January when i was visiting virginia. I did pay the fine. Will this pose a problem when i apply for my citizenship in july.

Pls Advise

No, it should not pose a problem. Make sure you declare it on the N400, and have the paperwork to back it up, particularly the payment.

And drive carefully at least till the natularization process is complete.
