N400 Finger Printing Issue

We have applied N400 for Citizen Ship in June 2009. Me and wife both received Finger Print Notices scheduled for July 14th 2009.

Both of us completed Finger Printing and after a week I called FBI to verify.

FBI clearly told me that the data has been transmitted to USCIS and my wife's finger printing had an issue. He also told me that my wife might have to re-do the Finger Printing.

On August 6th I received Interview Letter scheduled for September 21st.

My wife did not receive any Finger Printing notice.

What can be done?

Please advice.

If they did not send a ref for FP, then your wife did not need it. Just go to your interview and they will tell you what else needs to be done. If you are really worried about it, do the walk in FP with the previous order and even they will let you know if they need a rerpetition or not.
Good luck.

Sending in your applications together doesn't guarantee you will receive interview and oath on same days as each application is handled separately. Schedule an Infopass with your DO to determine the status of her FP. They might be rescheduling her for an FP, so you can try to do a walk with original FP letter as godisgoodtome suggested.

If we go to the Application Support Center with the FP OLD notification (Which is already stamped completed on July 14th), will they allow to re-do the FP?

Usually do they allow this?

Please advice.

Usually do they allow this? Would appreciate your inputs.

Depends on the person serving you at ASC..they may request that you wait until you get a rescheduled FP, or they may allow you to redo it with old FP letter.
