N400 - do foreign trips count towards 5 year mandatory period before applying ?

Hi All, does any one know if business trips should counted as days away for the purpose of calculating the 5 year period before applying for naturalization ?

You do not have to subtract them from the 5 year waiting period, but total number of days out of country must be less than 900 (30 months) for Physical Presence test, and no single trip can be longer than 180 days (6 months) for Continuous Residence criteria.

A reentry permit (I-131) alone does not, but combined with a N-470 it allows you to preserve continuous residency.

Oke, I just wanted to make sure USCIS doesn't count the days like that, but instead will be willing to consider the exact value of 2.5 years.
