I seek advice from all the experienced GURUS!!!!

My situation is a little bit different and i wasn't able to find anything related that would guide me even a little bit, so bear with me.
1) I was granted ASYLUM in May 8th 2008
2) Since my first work permit wasn't expiring for next two years (may of 2010) i didn't rush to apply for GC after a year (and financial situation was involved here also)
3) applied for GC at the beginning of 2010 --> approved ---> received GC in April 2010 (GC Category AS6, but on the GC it states "Resident since: 4/28/2009" )
4) Did I loose 11 months of continuous residency ?
5) Am I good to send the N400 in with a explanatory letter attached?

Tell me guys where I'm at!

TheRealCanadian, I understand that and I thank U for prompt response.
So there is no exception at all, correct? even if i have thee proof I was granted asylum in May 2008 and was psychically present since?
Thanx

It doesn't matter. You weren't a permanent resident. I was physically present in the US almost continuously since 1998 and didn't become eligible for citizenship until 2009, for the same reason.
