N-400 Vermont (St. Alban's Office) Tracker - Feeback

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to get some feedback from folks who have sent their applications to the St. Albans location in June timeframe.

My receipt date on the 1-797C is June 1st though online it says June 9th (Should this be a concern?)
Finger printing done on July 14th ..
Case since is showing "Case received and Pending" ..

Any thoughts ?? .. Has anyone around the early June time frame experiencing this?

Also, Have you done an infopass at your local office? If not, I think you should. Do not call the Customer service line as they are of NO help.
 
Also, what's your DO (district office)? Some DOs that fall under the jurisdiction of VSC are very slow (Washington D.C. and Philadelphia, for instance), so you may still be within normal processing times.

I guess DO based on my address would be Washington DC. Do these cases get routed to DO after submitted to a regional office (say in my case - St. Albans Vermont). Yes DC is quites slow. St. Albans now show July 15th processing online and DC Jan 21st ..
My online case status states "This case is at our VERMONT SERVICE CENTER location. Follow " ...

What option did you select for the info pass appointment or inquiry online? Or should a phone call or visit to them would suffice?

Select...Information on a pending case (or whatever is closest to that option)

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you still have a few months of waiting ahead of you. The St. Albans DO is a separate entity from the VSC, so they won't be processing your case. As far as the online status goes, you can ignore it, as it's no longer updated.
 
Yea I guess .. If Jan 21st 2007 is the actual progress than still have a few months to go. I'll set up an infopass apt. certainly .. Thanks for the info ..

What type of information do they provide ? FBI bg results, finger printing results etc. ???

Yes. They can give you all that and if the IIO is nice enough, you can probably make a list and ask him questions from that.
