Part 8 F. of N-400 (Information About Your Marital History) asks about 'Prior Spouse's Immigration Status'. Shall I mention her as 'H1-B' Visa holder by checking on the 'Other' checkbox, since she was in H1-B during my marriage with her? The reason why i am asking is because she currently has Green Card which she got 6 months after the marriage with me (since I included her in my I-485 Application after marriage). Moreover, when I read N-400 Instructions form (as given below), it asks to answer 8 F. Question # 2 regarding the spouse's status 'during my marriage'.
The following is what 'N-400 Instructions' form says:
"If you were married before, give information about your former spouse or spouses. In question F.2,check the box showing the immigration status your former spouse had during your marriage. If the spouse was not a U.S. citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident at that time check ''Other'' and explain. For question F.5, if your marriage was annulled, check ''Other'' and explain. If you were married to the same spouse more than one time,write about each marriage separately."
