N-400 interview!

Hi,
My long-waited interview letter finally arrived. I applied for citizenship about 21 months ago. Had to do FP twice (the first one got expired after a year). I belong to the Atlanta processing center. I understand, the long delay of my application was due to the Name check issue.

My question, what to expect at the end of my interview? Is there any chance to get the oath letter soon (or on the same day) after my interview? Or, after the interview, are they going to further delay my application by saying that my "Name check" processing is still pending!

I would appreciate your comment on this. Thank you!

Congrats. If your interview is scheduled anytime before 12 noon, chances are good that you will be able to take the oath that very same day after the interview. If you can't make it, no worries......you will be scheduled within a week. Good luck.

Can someone get the interview if Name check is not yet Complete?

Hi,
Can someone still get the interview if "Name check" is not yet Complete? My question, after a long-wait, I received my IV letter. Does it mean that my "Name check" processing is complete, and there will be no further processing delay after my interview? Please comment!

they normally do not schedule interviews unless you have cleared. However, even if they did, the good news is that you could sue them after 120 days of the interview.
