Hi my friends;

I have found a letter for "Request for Applicant to Appear for Naturalization Initial Interview" in a minute ago in my mail box and would like to update my case status with you guys.


07/31/2010: N-400 mailed - Phoenix, AZ (USPS)
08/02/2010: N-400 received.
08/09/2010: Check Cashed
08/06/2010: Notice Date
08/12/2010: RFE (Online status shows RFE)
08/27/2010: FP Scheduled
08/16/2010: FP Done
08/24/2010: IL Notice
09/28/2010: ID

I will update my case since its move on.

Hi, No San Fran don't have same day oath, see the last post, where that person is in Garden City, they have same day Oath in Garden City but did he get it? No. It says decision cannot be made on interview.
So as I have told you in the thread you started yesterday, it is not necessary to get the approval the same day as interview, for example my Citizenship was approved 5 months after the interview and I was given the same thing, "Decision cannot be made".

No, SF doesn't have "regular oath", only irregular oath is available, usually couple of weeks after your interview, provided you pass. USCIS tried to have a regular oath there, but these guys refused to allow them to have a "regular oath"...lol!!! In addition, they chased after USCIS officials with pitch forks...

I think there was a missunderstanding about my question.I was trying to ask "How often they have a oath ceremony in San Francisco?" Do they have once a month or twice a month etc?

Based on the recent oath ceremony schedules they have had, they had two oath ceremony dates for May, one in June, two for July, one in August and currently, two dates for September so it varies, sometimes once per month, sometimes twice.

Upcoming oath ceremony dates are Sept. 9 Thurs and Sept. 21 Tues, both @ 2 PM, Masonic Center in SF.

The last time I checked, the next ones are still being debated on as to where they will be held due to further budget cuts.
