Dear Experts!

My wife is under her own independent visa TN (valid for 2 more years) . And now she needs to travel out of the country. My papers i-140 and i-485 have been approved. My questions is: does my i-485 approval affect (restrict) her admissibility into US. Her name was included in my i-485 but she didn't file her i-485.
Please share your thoughts. Any ideas would be highly appreciated!

Until she files I-485, she can enter and renew TN.

But, this begs the question: Why hs she not yet filed I-485, which should have been at the same time as you. She would have had EAD and GC by now.

Now she still runs into do the same timing problem she would have faced earlier. And what if her category quota closes.

Thank you so so much Nelsona! This exactly why. She wanted to go her to her homeland first and only then file i-485. We were not sure that her advance parole would be approved before she leave US. Normally it's long process. But she must leave very soon. We hope that her category quota will not close (my docs are NIW and our country is Russia). Anyways thank you very much again!

Well, you got your GC during that period, surely she would have gotten her EAD and AP, which ALWAYS takes less time than GC.

Make suse she files I-485/I-131/I-765 IMMEDIATELY after her return, and stays in US for the 3 months that that requies. It is imperatif she get her GC as soon as possible.
