Drs do talk about their patient's medical conditions, especially when you are psycho or eating too many nuts....:rolleyes: No law prohibits Dr from talking about their nut eating patients....:(

Aboki, this may or may not help you, but I just read that the "extreme hardship" requirement was removed by VAWA 2000. I still see that they are asking for it in the instructions, so you may want to do some researching yourself. Good luck!

Also, google VAWA 2000 and VAWA 2005. Looks like there have been new laws enacted in 2000 and 2005 about this. I didn't dig extremely deep into this, but at least found several references that didn't include the extreme hardship requirement.

I wonder about the ability of a mentally challenged individual to trick one into a marriage. Who stands to gain from the "trickery"?

Instead to continue asking for all kind of sort of's on how you can stay here...you should just go to an immigration lawyer and ask "at this point...if I want to stay...what are my options?" and s/he should know how to answer that question.

by the way do you saw each other after you met online? Now, for how long you have been here? If you are not working, she is not working...so how are you supporting yourself?

The first thing I will get is a letter from her principal doctor about her condition. Second a copy of admission and release of the different hospitals.
