Just want to tell you all about my interview yesterday.
Th IO take finger print of my index and had me sign under it then we went to his office. He looked at my file and looked at me and said " oh, i don't know why they even sent you to this office, you were supposed to be interviewed in San Antonio office, ummm, this is the first time i see your file and i never reviewed it but i won't be able to review it all today, after reviewing i might or might not send you a letter for interview at your local office, or i can just finish it and hopefully the next thing will be your card.."
i asked: could you tell me if my name check has been cleared?
IO: Oh, i guess i should have checked on that before i called you to my office, let me check.... ummm no sir, it has not been cleared.
I asked: any idea when it could clear?
IO: no sir, we have no idea how long that would take.
At this point i felt like telling him i want to withdraw my case now and part of me said no don't do it.
I was so mad and angry and i even went off on them and told him how i feel exactly about the USCIS and said what is so freakin difficult about my case??? knowing the interview is being video taped.
after leaving my business for 2 days/ get a motel room near the office/drive for more than 8 hours, the whole trip was simply a big waste.
You guys have no idea how disappointed, very hopeless, and i promise you guys i WILL NOT be happy if i ever get my GC because they simply dolled it for me.

Sorry for your case getting into this trap.
What most likely is going to happen - your IO would approve your case even without interview, but you will be really approved and get all the docs after your name check is cleared. Deep breath, chill pill and wait wait wait trying not to kill innocent people around you.
