My interview is Wednesday !

Excellent stuff. When I cleared my interview last year in Boston, I had to wait 3.5 months before my ceremony. Looks like they have improved things by leaps and bounds.

the whole precess is about 5 Months like they say in their website

My whole process took almost 7 months. From my application submission to passing the interview, it took just over 3 months and then it took another me 3.5 months just waiting to take the oath. This last part is where they seem to have improved.

Holly Molly .....!!! that was a Long Big wait JP !!

Exactly what I was getting at. I had to be really really patient and careful during this time. Last year was a real mess for naturalizations in MA. Most people had waits of at least 2-3 months for the oath ceremony after passing the interview. But there was no logic to things. Some people who started their naturalization process much after I did, ended up getting their oath ceremonies before me. That part was annoying.

Well, I am 7 months in from my application date of July 14th 2010 and I am still awaiting a decision. So yeah, it happens to many and unsure when I will get one but plan to follw up with the necesary channels.

Congratulation RTB188! My interview date was a day later than yours and I didn't receive my oath letter until 3 weeks after my interview, but my oath date was on the same day as yours, Feb 17th!!

My interview experience was similar to yours. The IO told me they had interviewed me much earlier than my 5 years annivesary, otherwise they would give me the same day oath (apparently they have same day oath in Seattle). The whole N-400 process took me 114 days (~4 months).

Urgent need advise

Hi Folks,

I passed my interview on May 5, 2010 and still hasn't received the Oath letter yet. My problem is that my parents are visiting me we just had a baby and their I-94 is valid until first week of June. I am going to file a lawsuit this week. I got my second FP done in Mar 2011 it has been 4 weeks. I would like to file gc for my parents without them leaving. I only have May left for Oath to be able to file gc for my parents before their I-94 expiration. Is filing and extension for them a safer way e.g. if I file for extenstion for my parents and in the meantime I get my citizenship in June while their extension is pending. can i file for their GC with getting the extension approved.

I am very depressed these days don't know what to do any help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
