My Interview Date! :)

Well, if you can, try to speak with an IO and ask where your file is. If you happen to learn that your file has been sent to your DO, expect to receive your IL soon

Hey GatedGal

Congrats! My husband is active duty too. Why and how is your case expedited? I thought expedited applications were only allowed for military spouses that are stationed overseas?! Will call the US military helpline maybe next week to get a status. I am very happy and excited for you!

Might as well go there and ask, if it will arrive in 1 - 2 month.

Then pull out a paper and say: "Can you please sign it? You know, for the records?"

I already know the answer to that one.....

If my IL doesn't arrive by April 15 (2 months from my first InfoPass), I'm scheduling another InfoPass and letting the IO know about the 1-2 month timeframe. Think they'll say "Give it another month or two"?.

Hmm, my patience would wear thin.

For now it seems you are still on track, but after 2 more month I would get a little ticked off.

Believe me, I'll be extremely ticked off! Considering current NYC processing times, it actually does seem accurate. The only thing that worries me is the fact that everyone who who goes to InfoPass is given the same exact timeframe.

On the brighter side of things, 4 people in the Boston thread reported receiving ILs, all with late July 2007 PDs.

As per my reference model, there are about 3 weeks left for my IL to come.
I still find that timeframe a little optimistic and thus don't worry all that much.

Honestly, I do think that running to an Infopass all the time may not be beneficial. As we already found out, it changes little and the info isn't helpful either.

So, for as long as it doesn't go off by more then a month, I don't worry.

Congrads!!! What a streamline process!!!

If I remenber your previous posted thread correctly, your finger print was completed and through with the FBI prior to the N400 application process, which has accelerated the entire process. Furthermore, TSC seems having the fastest process besides the Cincinatti.

May best luck with you and all of us who are patient waiting or not......

Gatedgal, I am so happy for you! I still have not heard anything on mine. I called again the other day. This time they want me to wait 30 more days for service request. I am confused. I will try again Monday.

Thank you berrin. I think you should make an InfoPass appointment and speak with a real person. I hope you get your letter soon, very soon!
