My I-751 probably will not be proved before it expires

Hi guys,
This is my 1st time here. I filled my I-751 (remove Temporary green card condition) form in April 2007 in Texas, but I move to New England area during July 07. I just found out Texas Service Center transfered my case to Vermont SC on Jan, 31, 2008. I checked VSC's processing date online. It seems there's no way they can get to my case before my green card expires in June 08. In that case, cannot work and travel. What should I do? Does someone has been in similar situation?
I will REALLY REALLY appreciate your help if you can give me some clue.

Make an infopass appointment and visit your local DO when your 2 year GC has expired for a full year. They should stamp your passport. Remember, you can still work. You just don't have proof if someone asks for it. As long as your I-751 is in process, you are fine, even if you do not have proof of work authorization. You may also file an N-400 if you are interested.

same page

we are on the same page, filed mine here in texas last may of 07 unfortunately, i just got an e-mail today stating that my case was transferred to vermont. Can anybody tell me how fast or slow their service. And why are they transferring cases from one to another? Is this to be worried about?

There is another forum with a lot of cases that the ones filed already in TSC are getting transfer to VSC...just wonder how that will affect people who file at the same time at VSC already.

Since you should have your first NOA that extended your status for a year, you should make an INFOPASS (before the expiration date) and ask for another extension. They can check that your application is still pending and you can request a stamp in your passport, work same as the first NOA.

I don't pay attention to the processing times, for what I heard over here and in other forums does not make sense.

Thanks, Triple_citizen & Cherr1980 for replying my questions.
I plan to make an INFOPASS to get my passport stamped. Do you know when the stamp will be effective, starting the expiration day or starting the day it's stamped? In other words, should I go to local office right now or just before my GC expire (June 08)?

Thanks again.
