Request your local US congressman to find the status. Don't waste time waiting. MTR for a denial(if any) needs to be filed within 30 days(?). Lot of mistakes(not in our favor) happen at USCIS. All the best.

Call, don't mail. Ask for an appointment with a staffer, and go talk to them in person. Mails are easy to ignore.
