Multiple TN Visa

Hi,

I got my TN from my Employer 'A' which is valid till next year March.

Now there is job requirement from employer 'B' for three months which I am interested but I must be on his W2 as per the client.

Here are my questions.

1) Do Employer B has to sponsor my TN inorder to show me on W2 or is there any other way that he can run W2 without TN.

2) If the first one is yes, then what should I mention in the second TN visa letter. I really don't want to loose my first employer TN.

If you are working for a differnt employer, then you need a second TN, regardless of how you are getting paid.

The new TN letter should be similar to the first one. It should not refer to the other sponsor.

is this a case where you are really working for an agency that sends you out to clients?

Nelsona, Thanks for your answers.

I want to keep my first TN as is and I don't want to give this I-94. After this 3 months assignment I want to continue working with my first employer. In this case how do I retain both TN and what should be telling in POE?

Only for this assignment.

Getting a second TN does not automatically cause them to revoke number 1. However if you are no longer working for this other client, your TN is invalid.
But the best thing is to simply say nothing about the other one.

Thanks Nelsona..

I will not be saying anything about 1st TN visa. If at all they ask, Can I say that I will be doing some part time work for them to retain that I-94.

Can I give them a passport without I-94. Will that be good Idea?

Also, In the interview should I say I came for second TN or just TN.

Thanks again for your help/answers.
