Multiple I-485

Hi, My realtive-based I-485 is pending for almost 21 months (in Atlanta). This has put me in a bind. My child is currently 19. I think by the time my perm residency comes in and her I-130 is aproved she will over 21 and may not qualify for the child protection clause. I am therefore thinking of applying for an EB-2 based I-485. The question is that can I do it while the earlier one is pendig? Please Advise. Thanks

Thanks. Another question. If the first I-485 is approved (ie the relative based) then what happens to the EB-2 based I-485?

-- What ever I-485 is approved first you will get GC based on the I-485 that gets approved first and second or pending I-485 automatically becomes void as you get GC stamp in PP

The question that is bothering me is that since my fist I-485 is imediate-relative based and if it gets approved, what about my child who is on my EB-2 based I-485? Thanks
