Moving within U.S right before U.S Citizenship

Hi Folks,

I will be eligible to apply for U.S Citizenship in 6/09. I might have to move in couple of months to a different state for work. How long do I have to live in a certain state/county/city to establish the residency before I can apply for U.S Citizenship there? Does this rule apply only if you move out of state or even if you change counties/city within state?

3 months, and I believe it applies to a state, not county.

3 months residency in the area serviced by the district office is required. Since district office service coverage is determined by zip code, the rule can apply to same state as well as different state moves.
