Moving from India to Canada with US green card

My aunt currently holds a valid , unexpired US green card and is currently residing in India. Can she go to Canada with US green card from India without a visiting visa?
 
Obviously not, US and Canada are different countries. With US green card your aunt can not travel to Canada if she is from a country that she requires visa to visit Canada.
 
Not true. A green card holder can visit Canada with just the green card. I think this only works when entering from the US, but I could be wrong. Call/email the Canadian embassy/consulate. However, since your aunt is residing outside the US, her green card may not be valid anymore. For how long has she been out of the US?
