Mother visiting me 2nd time after 5 years, any possible issues?

I have two enquires:

1. My father and mother applied for visit visa to US in 2005 and they visited me that year. They stayed with me for couple of months. My father passed away last year. Now my mother is visiting me this year, can there be any possible issues? She is 76, fragile, and does not speak English.

2. I am a US citizen, and I plan on applying for my mother's permanent stay (Green card) with me as soon as she is in US. How long does it take? Will it be complete with in 6 months? If possible, I want to avoid sending her back.

Thank you in advance for any reply.

You are asking for advice on how to perfect your immigration fraud scheme.

You need to file an I-130 and do the consular processing to bring her here.

She will be denied a B-2 visa because she does not qulaify for the B-2 entry.

Do it the legal way and file for consular processing. As a USC, you should obey ALL laws, not just the ones that are convenient to you. Her entering the US on B2 with the intent to AOS to LPR is improper.

By the way, how do you plan to pay for her health insurance? She is in poor health and can be denied if it appears she will be a public charge. If she has no insurance - and speaks no English - it will be really hard to find a doctor to treat her. You may be shortening her life by placing her in a situation that is stressful and where she is poorly cared for. (In most states, she will not qualify for Medicaid and will not be able to buy into Medicare for 5 years.)

Since you have made it perfectly clear what your intentions are, your best course of action is to apply for your mother's green card via the consular processing route.
