Hi i have question may be someone can help me.

i applied for my daughter in 2000 on green card as umarried children over 21. Now recently i became i US citizen. I have just upgraded her case recently when i became a US citizen. She got marrried before we upgraded her case
Now that we recevied her first package of visa processing fee.
MY Question are

How can i upgrade her petition from unmarried to married and how?

will they cancell my case because she is married now?

What will be Quickest way to get my daughter and her husband in the US?

Or how long will it take if i filed the petition again for both of them as married.?

Please Advice me soon. i have her paper waiting.
 
Did she marry BEFORE you BECAME USC? If yes, her petition is revoked and you have to apply for her again in FB3 category. If it happened AFTER you became USC she can adjust together with the family when PD is current for FB3.
 
Thanks for the reply. She got married after i became USC. but can you tell me how long will it take for of them to get to USA.
 
Great! That was VERY smart of her! Now the PD for her category is 08OCT00. So as long as all papers will be submitted for consular processing it'll probably take 3-5 months. May be even faster (I've heard CP usually faster then AoS while in US).
 
Because of the country limits Mexicans and Filipinos have different PD then the rest of the world (same for China and India for EB GC).

she is from pakistan. We already got the visa papers. we need to file affidavit of support. so again can she bring her husband with her if we updated her case as married now. or she has to come to USA and apply for him? thanks for all your replies.
 
She can (and should in fact) bring her husband with her. She's now FB3, and hubby is the derivative (I think that's how it called).

my daughter got interview date now, can she update her case at the time of the interview mean can she tell Them at the time of the interview she got married. she got married after i became the us citizen AND just 2 months before she got the interview date. i am not sure how will it effect her case?. or what will be the procedure.? can someone please help me her interview date is very close.
