more than 10 months??

Has anyone ever heard of administrative processing that has taken over ten months?
no, we haven't been waiting for ten months...buuuut we had our interview in november so that's 10 months from then to september. i'm trying to understand what the chances are that our case number won't be announced in time

Could you please elaborate on what you mean 'awaiting family friend's background check'? Is he/she your affidavit of support?

ohhh what am hearing here????? 8 or 10 months ????
i also has falled in the check background since the begining of March, will it take all the time for the resulte?
in my case there was aspelling error to my family name.. didn't realize its gona suspend it !!

No one knows how long it will take... some people are under administrative processing only for a few weeks, others for many months.

nah she isn't our affidavit of support. she helped us obtain "job offer" from US. and we gave the consular her address when we were asked for one!
