Moderators Deleting Comments

Comments against NONSENSE written by Joe F. is being deleted by Moderators on this forum and those written by Joe F. is maintained.

Now I begin to wonder if whether Joe F. is one of the Moderators?

Or does Joe F. have more than one IDENTITY?
 
I think the moderators are doing a very good job on this forum to keep some sanity here.
 
I haven't noticed anything unusal but then I haven't looked hard myself.

a moderator needs to have a balanced and fair approach to the members: s/he needs to have the ability to know when something is off limits (as specified in the forum rules, or as common sense). and s/he shouldn't be biased to or against certain views or certain members. I haven't seen anything to the contrary so I assume that the moderator here clears that hurdle.

Then here is another hurdle for the moderator: s/he needs to know the topic at hand and weed out the non-sense. if in fact some of JoeF's posts are still standing, it is clearly in my view a disgrace to humanity. JoeF is as rude to anyone dissenting from him as it can be and is pretentious on a lot of subject matters where his knowledge is questionable at best.

I don't know what or how JoeF maintains ties to the moderator but whatever that is, I call for the moderator to take a new approach at moderating this forum and really focusing on providing the members with the best service and nothing else.
 
one thing I did notice is that JoeF used to have a very offensive and inapproriate line in his signature. I brought it to the attention of the moderators and now that line has been revised.

I am not sure what prompted the revision but I do think it is a move in the right direction.

However, putting that line in one's signature in the first place is just too childish and inmature, something a civilized person shouldn't do to his fellow. the use of the line by JoeF simply shows how unbelonging to this community, any community, of humanity he is.
 
Moderator, this is very valid concern by fellow member n400application. As a matter of fact, on public forum nothing should be deleted. Thats how members get access to all information. And if moderator decides to delete some message based on some criteria then it should be applied everytime. I have seen JoeF making offensive/deterioratry and very insulting comments againest member named as aussiegirl(this is just one example, there are too many others). That girl came here for help and rather than providing any advice to improve her situation, JoeF insulted/abused her repeatedly. And I beleive those postings are still there in that thread. Why moderators allows such abusive behaviour from JoeF and let it continue? I suggest fair and balance approach to maintain this forum so that members in need can get helpful advice(Not insult and repeated abuse by JoeF) on their immigration issues.

I thought you said you had put me in your killfile and apparently you still read my posts, :). Just want you to be consistent.

If you find any of my comments to be harrassing, please point them out.

And I also encourage anyone and everyone to report any offensive behaviors by JoeF to the moderators so that we paint an accurate picture of who the offender really is.

As to your threat to put me back in your signature: a threat is real if and only if you are able to carry it out. When the opportunity surfaces, JoeF, don't chicken out.

this is a valid point. I have seen some forums where the moderators put offensive posts to a special section that is publically accessible to all.

It serves two purposes:

a) it helps a new member to access just how knowledgeable a given poster it;
b) it helps a get a complete picture on an issue.

I was wondering if we can implement such a system here.
 
Someone commented it is a public forum. It is not. It is hosted by a private party. It is their prerogative to delete posts. The moderators are present to monitor offensive posts. Some people here are posting nothing but those. (You know who you are). Joe is not one of them.

I personally, have no problem with offensive posts being deleted. This sort of thing happened 2-3 months ago, with the result that the poster was banned after he continued with his tirades.

Unless some of you want to get tossed too, I suggest you contribute to issues where people ask for help and stop with the inane posts.

No, I am not a moderator, but after the garbage posted in the last few weeks, I would have no problem reporting bad posts now.

On JoeF's defense lots of people ask stupid questions without even trying to google or use the search feature on this board and after they get the right answer they keep halucinating and ask it over and over

Respectfully Disagree !! (and it is not even related to Joe F.)

I complained to the Admins about abusive posts that had all sorts of horrible language (even bringing moms and dads into the language). The moderators somehow dont find a reason to do anything and just close the thread.

Can a moderator/admin explain this please ???????????????

I can provide links to threads with posts containig extreme language. Insteading of stopping the poster, the moderator closed the thread.

How convinient.

And you know what, the poster even challenges to complain to the moderator !!

Moderators has to follow/apply forum rules which are applicable to ALL members ( No exception for you or your buddy). This forum is maintained for all members to discuss their immigration issues. And all members share same rights and follows same rules.Hope that is that clear enough

Depends on who you are talking to. in most civilized socities, the police usually would be quite interested in hearing what you have to say.

But if you live in places where civility isn't required, you usually aren't required to give any reasons for kicking people.
 
If Joe F. continues this NONSENSE and if the so called moderators/administrators continue to ABUSE their privilege and support this FELLOW Joe F., I have decided to send a mail via the US Postal Service to Khanna's Law Office and the American Bar Association.

It will cost me 39 + 39 cents, but I will get him involved with what is going on.

If this FELLOW Joe F. is still not brought under control, we have public entities and forums to act on behalf of the public to redressthe issue with Joe F.

i do not know, nor card, what rules are for the mod and for the others. if the owner of this site gives the power of the mods deleting comments. so be it.

i am here to help others, and get helped, rather than caring much about who delete some crap shyt or whatnot.

i did not say i owned any forums here. pls take your assumption else where.
