I'm sending out my I-485(with adjustment as married to a US citizen) as my legal stay is over in less than a week, and the papers are all in order - except my birth certificate. So my two options now are:
1)Overstay slightly, get the birth certificate and the civil service exams done, then send it all in with all of the documentation.
or..
2)Send in the packet without the required birth certificate, but within the domain of my legal stay. By the time the office issues a REF, I will have my birth certificate then.
Which one would be better?
