Misprint in passport stamp on arrival date to the US

I came to the US (for the first time) on H1B on Feb 19th 2006. But recently i have found the arrival stamp in my passport say Feb 19th, 2005 instead of Feb 19th 2006!

Would this create a problem while my H1B visa extension for my 6 yrs quota.??? Will this affect counting my term of staying in the US for my visa extensions?

What should I do now? Please, give me advise where to address about this misprint?

Thanks!!!

Hmm, it shouldn't be a problem if you keep your boarding pass. In their system, the date should be correct. I have an incorrect stamp in my travel document too, but I have boarding passes of all my flights. No worries.

you can correct it with Border Protection office. Tell your case with all available documentation. They will immediately correct it and will give it to you.

You should go to same Airport or POE and ask for the differed inspection office. Every airport has deferred inspection office. Go to airport with your boarding pass or any document that shows the entry to US on particular date and get it corrected.
Read the below link and find deferred inspections.
