Qick question to those who have done this,... am filing aos based
on asylun do I enclose the medicals on the original I485. I read somewhere saying that the immigration guys will ask for it at a later date...
clarifications please..

It is my understanding that you wait for them to request it (RFI). I think this has something to do with when they process your case and how long medical is valid for... If you send it and they don't process your application within the valid time frame you still have to do it again. It costs money. You may want to do a search on this site for "medical" I think it is fairly consistent that you send it only when requested to. With your initial I-485 it is not required.

Include them!!!!!

What does the application say?

This is a function of the cap. When the cap was in place there was no point in including the medical because the case would not be processed for like 15 years. Now is a different story.

I-693 Medical with Vaccination Supplement

Do not send the I-693 when filing your I-485 based on Asylum. The information will be requested during adjudication. If you file it, CIS will still request you to do it again or give a written explanation to your RFE that you have completed it with the initial filing. It is best you wait for the information to be requested by CIS.

I-693 Medical with Vaccination Supplement. Only a civil surgeon designated by CIS to conduct medical examinations may complete the Form I-693 and the vaccination supplement submitted with it. Call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283 to locate civil surgeons (doctors) where you live. (NOTE: The I-693 should not be filed with the initial asylum-based I-485 adjustment application. This information will be requested at the time of adjudication.)

Definitely Send Your Medical Along With Your Application, If You Don't They Will Ask For It. That's Unnecessary Waste Of Time.
