Hey everyone,I'm very confused right now and feel like giving up.I am a hepatitis b carrier (whatever that means) and it seems to me that I can be refused a visa based on the fact that not only did I not get the vaccine,I now have the disease.Am I wasting my time with this lottery thing? I am so angry and sad at the same time.

While hepatitis B is on the list of required vaccinations it's not considered a 'Communicable Disease of Public Health Significance'.
My understanding of the rules is that hepatitis B is not considered an inadmissible disease/condition.
I guess one could interpret this in many ways. I would either check with the American Consulate/Embassy where you live or consult an immigration lawyer.

3. granuloma inguinale
4. acquired immune deficiency syndrome (HIV/AIDS)
5. Hansen’s disease (infectious leprosy)
6. lymphogranuloma venereum
7. infectious state syphilis

Hi, being a Hep B carrier does not disqualify you for the diversity visa. There are many Hep B carriers who have been granted the visa without any problems. Like the other contributor said, you may only need to have immunization against Hep B.
