Hey powerman

That was quick... in 2 days check encashed. I have read in previous forums it takes at least 7-10 days to encash..i should check on mine probably.
 
I have applied for my H1B Revalidation on May 17. My check has been encashed on May 20.

I had my F1 visa rejected April 1997 once at Chennai and I again got my F1 visa at Chennai Dec 1997 and after that I have again gotten my H1B stamped at Chennai.

I have mentioned everything in the D156 form.

Can my F1 visa rejection in April 1997 cause problem with my revalidation by the US Department of State. Has anyone in the list got the revalidation approved with a prior rejected F1 or any other visa.

Hey Hmajay

I dont think it should be a problem in any way esp when u did receive visa afterwards. So dont worry abt having probs in revalidation here in US.

Anyway When did u send ur app did it reach on May 17 Or did it reach on May 18. I just wanted to find out because I have sent it on similar timeline. if u read the previous messages everyone has updated their info.

Can u add urself to the list above as others have done. Would really appreciate it.

Ya the same person M Ebel. The fedex guys have made a mistake in entering my from address in their database. I checked online. My apartment number is wrong. I hope they dont do the same mistake in my address when they send my passport back.
 
No They should not because u must have provided them with a return envelope and on that u must have written ur address in FROM and TO. correct?

so the person who is delivering it will not make mistake. So dont worry abt it.

Yaa mine is also the same person M.Ebel. I was looking for signature proof on FedEx website but they say its not available .

I am married and sending revalidation application for both of us. Do I need to answer this question 'Yes' and mention
On my form -- select 'Wife' and write 'House wife on H4 visa'
On my wife's form -- select 'Husband' and write 'Working on H1 visa'

Worried!

Hi,

I don’t know why but I just checked my FedEx tracking for return and my package is being sent back on 28th may. They received my application on 21st May. Its been a week only. It is coming from St. Louis only.

What could be the reason? I am little worried about it?

Please help me. I just check their website for the checklist related to the St. Louis and I remember sending all the required documents.

Was ur check encashed. U did not put that date on this forum. If u find out if ur check was encashed or not u will be able to tell whether its really come back. And u need not worry because if it comes back u will find out why it came back.
 
They returned my application just because i didn't include Visa Reciprocity for my wife. But Visa Reciprocity is not required for British Citizen and my wife is a British Citizen.

How stupid ......

What should I do? Please advice! I am wondering if include more fee then they might return the application again just because of extra fee.

Not for H4 Visa

haplabor,

There is NO Visa Reciprocity fee for H4 visa for a British citize. I would really appreciate if you could please just check once for me. yo know sometime you just see what you want to see and i might be missing something.

i would really appreciate your help.
