Fbi Name Check

Hello dear friends!!!

Kindly take a minute to read this --- need your advice please...

Sent a fax query to FBI for my name check. Today i received an email from DAVID HARDY of FBI, and told me that my name check was done February 19, 2004 (FP1 was done March 3, 2004) and forwarded the same to USCIS, Washington, DC. Here's my problem: their name check had my wrong birthdate. My first EAD was issued with the birthdate of my husband (April 16) printed instead of my birthdate (Feb. 11). I had this corrected and my 2nd EAD released Sept. 04, had my correct birthday, Feb. 11. I went to Newark Support Center for FP2 last Sept. 21, but was not done, coz they said my FP1 is still valid. Im thinking that delay in my approval was because of the FBI name check, with the wrong birthdate.

PLEASE HELP....ANY IDEA OF WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT???

THANK YOU VERY MUCH !!!! ANY ADVICE IS APPRECIATED...

SO CONFUSED:

I think you are fine

pag-asa88 ... is there any way to know if INS had a wrong birthdate for you all along, or they just issued the EAD with the wrong b'date. What I mean is that your FBI namecheck may have had the correct b'date. My suggestion would be to do the following:

1. Call USCIS customer support number ... tell them you had this problem before and you want to verify if they have the correct b'date now.

2. Send another fax to FBI and explain the situation. Hopefully agent Hardy will verify what b'date the previous namecheck contained.

Thanks Shaf!

Your prompt reply is really appreciated. Thanks for your advice...will call USCIS tomorrow.

Good luck for all of us!!!
