It was just an Estimate. All we can do is pray and hope LC moves fast. Believe me I did not post it to scare anyone. I am just trying to keep track of the things. Let\'s hope for good.

Does anybody know how much time Phili take to process once they receive the aplication from state? Do they have the same waiting time ?

received receipt notice

I sent papers to my lawyer in July but he confirmed filing on Aug 15th not as I said earlier as Aug 1. Sorry for the confusion.

yesterday only he sent me email about the receipt notice.

Do you have any Idea, how much time it should take for the final approval and how will the process go from here ?

As of 02/04/02 "SESA is processing RIR cases of Apr 11 & Apr 12. Receipt notices are being issued for September 2001. Non RIR cases are as of March 2001"(c)mdgc

Here\'s an otimistic analysis:

It took them 19 business days to process 6 business days worth of applications (based on Do Kim\'s status. Its approved on 1/10/02. They moved from 4/4/01 to 4/12/01 since then);
There are still 13 more business days worth of applications from April\'01 to process, which should take 41 business days to complete if they keep up the pace. Add another couple of days and you arrive at 5th,April\'02 before they complete April\'01 applications.
If they take even time from that point onward, you\'re looking at somewhere in Aug\'02 for applications filed in Aug\'01.
This is an optimistic view; it would be interesting to track the progress of April\'01 applications from now on. We should know in a couple of weeks if this analysis is on target.
On a brighter note: It would be just perfect if they start concurrent/premium processing processing for I140/485
by Aug\'02

Just got my receipt!!!! Was wondering if I would ever get it!!!!!

Lets hope they are able to move as fast on processing........... I think if they get past the April 30, the remaining applications will get processed real fast.

So, Do Kim, r u planning to go for CP or normal processing ?

Could you tell me what the CP is?
I am planning to apply on the normal processing because one of my friends got a petition(I-140) with in 2 months, and he applied for I-485 and I-765, now.
However, the CP is better than that way, I will make a plan again.

My attorney told me today that my receipt was received yesterday(Feb.5). It seems true that the processing time will be really fast after April 30.

How much time it took for you from receipt notice to going to phili ?

I know for sure that in Phili, it\'s taking 3-4 weeks for approval.

March 2001.
