My friend previously had a student visa 8 years ago and is applying now for a visitor visa B2 to the U.S.
The issue in question is when they got their visa 8 years ago it stated they were married and had a child but they were never married, this was filled out by the person that sponsored them.
On the new visa application they stated they were single and no kids, which this is correct. Is this going to be a problem when they go to the interview? Do they review previous information?
