Hello, Thx to all of you who always participate in the ordeals we all need answers to on the forum.

My question is that I am approved for my 2 yrs conditional greencard. But I dont have it in the mail yet. My marriage will be 2 yrs in december, if i dont get the greencard before then can will they automatically send the 10 years greencard since the marriage if the marriage is over 2 yrs?

My friend had the same problem they didnt send her card in for 2 yrs even tho she was approved, and then when her marriage became 2 yrs they send her a notice for another biometrics and interview and give her the 10 yrs greencard with no condition.

Does anyone have any idea if I may get the 10 yrs if i dont get the 2 yrs b4 my marriage is officialy over 2 years. Thx

if you are actually approved and just waiting for the card in the mail - it's one thing. If there is an administrative check pending and it's not over by December, then your GC will be unconditional after December.

Thx, i have been approved, no more issues. i am getting my passport stamped on the 23rd of June. but I may have to wait for 120 days for the actual greencard, which may be after my marriage becomes 2 yrs, will i get the 10 yr card or the same 2 yr conditional card? Thank you

it doesn't matter how many days or months it takes USCIS to actually print your card. Your "resident since" date will be the date of your approval.
